Christina Barr specializes in helping leaders identify the underlying cause for being stuck or limited and create a strategic pathway forward. Her focus is working with leaders to remove the drama and create adaptable, trusting, synergetic teams that maximize and leverage the highly performing individual contributors across generations. She does this through customized, strategic team programs that bring a common focus, aligned ways of working, more trusting relationships and effective open communication. Her clients comment on her grounded presence and ability to create an environment that allows stress, ambiguity and disconnect to dissipate which allows them to engage more fully and effectively.
Whether she works with Leaders or Teams, she brings out what is possible, identifies solutions that move the individual, group and organization forward, develops actions that engage, and relieving the tensions that may be present (including any drama and elephant in the room). Business/Organizational Leadership Experience
Christina draws on and integrates years of hands-on leadership and pragmatic experience with cross-generational teams as a Group Vice President, General Manager, VP of Operations, Chief People Officer, business owner and more. During her career, she has addressed a wide range of business challenges including mergers/cultural integrations and business turnarounds, entrepreneurial start-ups, and strategy development to revenue growth and profit maximization.
Education and Training
Christina has enhanced her hands-on experience by earning her MA in Organizational Development from the Fielding Institute; and as a certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West. She is authorized to use the Leadership Development Profile, licensed by Tim Kelly in True Purpose and licensed by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey from Harvard in the “Immunities to Change” process.
She has worked in a wide range of industries and sizes (from start-up to global fortune 100 companies), including commercial construction and property management; service firms: advertising/marketing, accounting, legal and financial; restaurant management; quick service restaurants; consumer goods and confections.
