The Daring Way™
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research by Dr. Brené Brown in her books entitled The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, and Rising Strong. During The Daring Way™ process, we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, worthiness and resiliency. Our work together will focus on cultivating an organizational culture where people feel inspired and supported, fostering organizational change and innovation through courageous leadership, and harnessing the skillset to improve organizational resiliency even in the face of adversity.
This methodology was designed for work with individuals, work teams, and organizational leaders who want to transform the way they live, love and lead.
Dr. Brené Brown Workshop Series
Gifts Of Imperfection: In this workshop, we discuss the 10 Guideposts to Wholehearted Living as described in the book The Gifts of Imperfection: Letting Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are by Brené Brown, Ph.D. These guideposts were created to help individuals and organizations begin to function from a place of authenticity. We do this by taking an honest look at what your goals are and then what might be getting in the way. By utilizing the 10 Guideposts for Wholehearted Living, we are able to identify practices that help cultivate change and spur growth. Prepare to get creative as we explore how to manifest an organizational culture where people feel inspired and supported.
Daring Greatly: In this workshop, we utilize The Daring Way™ psychoeducational curriculum that was designed for work with individuals, work teams, and organizational leaders based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown in her book Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authenticity. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills, as well as, developing daily practices that help us transform. Prepare to be brave as we explore ways to foster organizational change and innovation through courageous leadership.
Rising Strong: In this workshop, we focus our attention on individual and organizational resiliency as researched in the book Rising Strong: The Reckoning, The Rumble, The Revolution by Dr. Brené Brown. The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Having resiliency is what helps us get back up again and keep going. During our struggles, we may write stories, but writing our own endings to our story is motivating, validating, and incredibly empowering. Prepare to re-write your story as we explore organizational resiliency and how to harness the skillset
